Those

“Are you

Even though

Quinn is in

I’m feeling
warm and relaxed when I finally get out of the bathtub. I usually don’t walk
around the apartment unless I’m covered up, but since Trevor isn’t here I just
wrap a towel around me. My hair is piled up messily on my head, and I’m

I open the
bathroom door and nearly run smack into Trevor.

little squeal and immediately look to make sure my towel is in place. “I didn’t
know you were home.”

back.”

the bath.”

 Synopsis:

This book! I loved it! 5 Stars!

I cannot believe it took me so long to read this book! Was I hiding under a rock? Damn!

I absolutely loved this book! I loved everything about it! The premise, the characters, everything! Jess Bryant, you rock!

One of my top three favorite genres of romance is anything to do with cowboys. I swear I was a cowgirl in another life because when I read them, I connect and relate so easily. And Zach and his brothers are some sexy and sinful cowboys!

Bluebell and Zach…..
The perfect, angsty, sexy couple.
After reading the blurb, I thought Blue would be a flighty, selfish character. Not that that is a bad thing it is just what I inferred. I was wrong. I thought Blue to be smart, independent, and confident. And while she did have some issues of selfishness, they were no more than anyone living in her shoes might have. Blue was amazing. I loved her from the very beginning. While Blue was dealing with some personal and tragic issues, she found herself a distraction in the way of a sexy cowboy named Zach. Hmmm, Zach was definitely yummy. He was a strong, willful and hard, no pun intended 😉 as he ran his family’s ranch. Neither were looking for forever so they were perfect for each other. No feelings will be involved. Sure…right…tell me another another lie, lol.

I won’t go into details. I won’t tell you how this story unravels but I will tell you how engaged I was, how I couldn’t turn pages fast enough. I loved every second of this book. Even the parts that made my heart beat faster in way that wasn’t from happy circumstances. There is a lot going on in this story.

There are also two more sexy West brothers that I can’t wait to read next! I absolutely recommend this book to all my GR friends. You will love it!

This book is emotional. All the feel are present on the pages and ended up in my heart. I was gutted at times for the issues that Jet and Chevi dealt with. Specifically Chevi.

Chevi is a successful business woman. She runs an auto boutique and is never happier than when she is creating custom automobiles with her two cousins, Bolton and Bentley. Loved those two! While Chevi is a success as far as her bank account goes, she is a mess inside. Chevi is dealing with so many issues and my heart hurt for her. I will say that she is not perfect. Despite the author doing a great job at helping me understand what Chevi was dealing with, she frustrated me at times with her hot and cold behavior towards Jet. There was one particular moment in the book I really did not like her. After that scene, I wasn’t sure I could like her. But in the end everything was moving as it should and I was able to get past my dislike of her.

Jet on the other hand was perfect. He has been through a lot of disappointments in his life leading himself to believe he was unworthy of good things happening to him. That mind-set of Jet’s broke my heart. He was no alpha, but when he put his mind to something, he saw it through. Even if it looked as if he would be unsuccessful, he didn’t give up. So glad he didn’t give up on Chevi because she needed him. He needed her. Jet is intensely possessive and protective. Loved that trait in him.

I won’t give you any spoilers but I will tell you that this book gives us the struggles of alcohol addition and how it is effecting our heroine. While I don’t personally have any experience with this subject, I thought the author did a great job at helping me understand. Mustang Maverick is an intense, emotional and extremely sexy story of two people who truly needed each other to fight the demons in their lives. The end of the book has a couple of incredible epilogues that left me sighing and swooning. I’m so happy I got to read Jet and Chevi’s story. Their HEA was well deserved!
