Pulse-pounding action meets smoldering romance in Unleashed by the Moon, the latest masterpiece by New York Times and USA Today best-selling author L.P. Dover that is sure to leave you howling for more!
Desired by many.
Longing for one.
As the last royal arctic female, shifters across the country are sniffing for the chance to be the lucky male mated to Faith. A bond with her would elevate her chosen to the Royal pack, allowing them to tap into unimaginable power.
But Faithโs heart has already been claimed.
Hidden among the Great Plains pack, she finds the missing piece of her soul in Tate. But this love comes with a fatal risk. If their feelings are discovered, a price will be put on Tateโs head. At the next full moon, their bond can be fulfilled. Until then, they wait…
Little do they know, Killian Vilkas is preparing to manipulate matters to further his own twisted agenda. Orchestrating a vicious tournament, he pits shifters against one another in battles to try their luck at winning Faithโs hand.
Loyalties will be tested. Bonds broken by crushing betrayal. When the face of the silvery moon rises, will love stand victorious? Or fall beneath the snapping jaws of merciless ambition?
Once downstairs, I slip out the back door. Tate is still swimming laps and hasnโt noticed me yet. I stop at the edge of the pool, right by the diving board. Tate swims toward me and stops at the edge, lifting his head out of the water.
He swipes a hand over his face and smiles up at me. โHey. I didnโt know you were going to come out here.โย
I shrug. โI finished my phone calls early. Thought Iโd enjoy the night air.โ I flourish a hand about the pool. โDo you swim a lot?โย
Still looking up at me, he rests his arms over the edge. โAll the time. You should jump in.
โThatโs okay,โ I say, laughing as I glance down at my clothes. โI didnโt bring a swimsuit.โ Total lie, but itโs all I can think of to get out of swimming.
A wolfish grin spreads across his face. โOh, you donโt need a bathing suit.โ I donโt have time to react before he grabs my legs and tosses me into the pool. The water muffles my screams.
I surface fast and splash him in the face. โYouโre such an asshole.โ
He splashes me back, and a water war ensues. โYou shouldโve known better than to stand near the edge.โ
Laughing, I charge after him and push him under. He reaches around me and takes me with him. His deep laugh echoes under the water, and I smile. I donโt want to fight against him with his arms around me, but I canโt let him know how good it feels. Pushing him away, I swim over to the edge, and he does the same, only leaving about two feet between us. He looks at me and laughs, and I splash him one more time.
โIโll pay you back for this,โ I tell him.
He winks. โI look forward to it.โ We stare at each other for a few seconds, and then his expression turns serious. โThereโs something I want to talk to you about.โ
My heart stops, and I hold my breath. โWhat is it?โ
His eyes flash to his wolfโs, and when he closes and opens them back up, theyโre his usual bright blue. โAnson asked me today if Iโd let you spend time with the other males in the pack.โ
Taking a deep breath, I let it out slowly. โAnd what did you say?โ
He looks away. โI told him no.โ
Heart racing, I freeze. When his eyes meet mine, itโs like he can sense how much I want him. His need washes over me, drawing me closer. โWhy did you say no?โ
This time, heโs the one who swims closer. Weโre now only a foot apart. โI said no because I donโt want to share you. But then, itโs not my place to deny you. If you wish to spend time with my pack, I wonโt stop you.โ Mouth gaping, I canโt find the words to say. He moves closer, and weโre only a breath apart. I can feel the heat from his lips. โI wish you knew how fucking bad I want you as my mate. Your face is all I see when I close my eyes at night.โ I want to kiss him, but he swims away and gets out of the pool. His swim shorts ride low on his hips, and I canโt hide my attraction to him. Even the cool water canโt ease off the heat of my skin. He picks up his towel and runs it over his face. โI can sense what your body does around me. It drives me crazy not to act on it.โ Still keeping his back to me, he turns his head to the side but doesnโt fully look at me. โWhat kind of mate do you want, Faith?โ
I donโt want to lie to him. Climbing out of the pool, I walk over to him, but he still keeps his back to me. โIf I had my choice, Iโd want someone like you.โ A few seconds pass, and I resist the urge to touch him. It gets harder and harder the longer Iโm around him.

As an only child, Hayley Faiman had to entertain herself somehow. She started writing stories at the age of six and never really stopped.
ย
Born in California, she met her now husband at the age of sixteen and married him at the age of twenty in 2004. After all of these years together, heโs still the love of her life.
Hayleyโs husband joined the military and they lived inย Oregon, where he was stationed with the US Coast Guard. They moved back to California in 2006, where they had two little boys. Recently, the four of them moved out to the Hill Country of Texas, where they adopted a new family member, a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
Most of Hayleyโs days are spent taking care of her two boys, going to the baseball fields for practice, or helping them with homework. Her evenings are spent with her husband and her nightsโthose are spent creating alpha book boyfriends.
I remember writing my first book when I was just a kid. It was a short children’s story that my mom loved so much, she took the time to get our friend to illustrate all of the pages.ย
ย
ย
I had decided back then, that when I grew up I was going to be an author. Funny how we grow up and things change so drastically, right? As I got older, I began the age old search of trying to figure out exactly what I wanted in life.ย
ย
I got married at 18, moved across the world with my husband and spent the next several years trying so many different things in order to find my fit. I fell in love with so many things as well, including photography, calligraphy, music, and letterpress.ย
ย
But writing and reading have always remained a constant love of mine. Oddly enough, it was the only thing I never spoke about. I kept it very private, starting several different stories and ultimately not finishing them. I never spoke about what I was writing with anyone, or very very few people once in a while. I didnโt even share what I wrote with my family or my husband.
ย
This year, a lot of things changed. I found myself coming to a place in my life as a mom, a wife, a friend, but still not as MYSELF. I continued struggling with my own identity, struggling with who I was outside of being a wife and mother. So, I made it a goal to write and finish my first novel in 2019. I decided to CHOOSE my path and create it for myself, choose my identity and allow my passion for writing to come at the forefront of that.ย
ย
I am a mother. I am a wife. I am a friend and a lover of many many things. But I am also a writer, Iโm an author, and loving every moment of embracing myself in all of those things.
ย
So, here I am today, writing this blurb about my โstoryโ and laughing to myself just a bit. Because this is just the beginning of what my story was and is going to be, and Iโm ready to embrace whatever this new adventure has for me.
As in the only word to describe making the mistake of falling for someone who is not only ten years younger than you, but your best friend’s son…

The Crown of Gilded Bones, the third installment in the intense and gripping fantasy, A Blood and Ash Series by New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout, is coming April 20th and we have an exciting sneak peek!
CHAPTER ONE
โLower your swords,โ Queen Eloana commanded, her hair shining a glossy onyx in the sun as she sank onto one knee. The raw emotion pouring out of her seeped into the Temple floors of the Chambers of Nyktos, bitter and hot, tasting of anguish and a helpless sort of anger. It stretched out toward me, needling my skin and brushing against thisโฆprimal thing inside me. โAnd bow before theโฆbefore the last descendant of the most ancient ones. She who carries the blood of the King of Gods within her. Bow before your new Queen.โ
The blood of the King of Gods? Your new Queen? None of that made sense. Not her words or when she had removed her crown.
A too-thin breath scorched my throat as I looked at the man standing beside the Queen of Atlantia. The crown was still upon the Kingโs golden-haired head, but the bones had remained a bleached white. Nothing like the gleaming, gilded one the Queen had placed at the feet of the statue of Nyktos. My gaze skipped over the terrible, broken things scattered about the once pristine, white floors. Iโd done that to them, adding their blood to what had fallen from the sky, filling the thin fissures in the marble. I didnโt look at that or anyone elseโevery part of my being focused on him.
He remained on one knee, staring up at me from between the vee of the swords heโd crossed over his chest. His damp hair, blue-black in the Atlantian sunlight, curled against the sandy-hued skin of his forehead. Red streaked those high, angular cheekbones, the proud curve of his jaw, and ran down lips that had once shattered my heart. Lips that had pieced those broken shards back together with the truth. Bright, golden eyes locked with mine, and even bowed before me, so motionless I wasnโt sure he breathed, he still reminded me of one of the wild and strikingly beautiful cave cats Iโd once seen caged in Queen Ileanaโs palace as a child.
He had been many things to me. A stranger in a dimly lit room whoโd been my first kiss. A guard who had sworn to lay down his life for mine. A friend who had looked beyond the veil of the Maiden to truly see me underneath, whoโd handed me a sword to protect myself instead of forcing me into a gilded cage. A legend cloaked in darkness and nightmares that had plotted to betray me. A Prince of a kingdom believed to have been lost to time and war, who had suffered unimaginable horrors and yet managed to find the pieces of who he used to be. A brother who would do anything, commit any deed to save his family. His people. A man who bared his soul and stripped open his heart to meโand only me.
