Synopsis:

Three and a half years ago, Tommy Wyatt was in Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo. He had only one thing on his mindโ€”winning another national championshipโ€”until he met a beautiful young med student who changed his life.

Blake Eden is in the last few months of her general practice residency, interviewing for jobs and eager to move forward. But before she can seize her future, she needs to settle some things from her pastโ€”like bringing closure to her impulsive marriage to rodeo champion Tommy Wyatt.

When Blake shows up at the Salinas Rodeo demanding Tommy sign their divorce papers, Tommy makes it clear he isnโ€™t interested in signing anything. When he married Blake, he meant his vows. Now Tommy has one week to convince his secret wife theyโ€™re meant to be together.

My ๐Ÿ“Review๐Ÿ“: ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

I think Montana Cowboy Promise might be my favorite book in this series. Wait! Actually, I know it is. Of all the Wyatt brothers Tommy is my favorite and has been since book one. Tommy is the brother with the biggest heart. He always believed in love and just knew that there was a soulmate out there for him. And when he meets her three years prior to where this story begins, he knows without a doubt that Blake is the one. An impulsive marriage after a few days of knowing each other is the most real thing in his life. Tommy loves his career in rodeo, he is loyal and loving to his family but there is something about Blake that brings out more.

I wonโ€™t go into the reason why Tommy and Blake were separated for a few years. That particular resolution develops as the story moves on in a perfect, steady pace. Their rode to forever-after is not simple. There are obstacles in the way that are not easy to hurdle over. But don’t worry because Tommy Wyatt is a determined, head-over-heels in love cowboy and he won’t give up without a fight.

Montana Cowboy Promise is an emotional novel written with sensitivity and believability. The main characters are stubborn but likable. I admit to being a bit frustrated with Blake until all is revealed. There are so many love-at-first sight novels that are quite cheesy and unrealistic. However, in my opinion, this author did a wonderful job at making me believe, without a doubt, in Tommy and Blake’s relationship. I was invested and engaged from the first words.

If you haven’t read the rest of the series, no worries because this book can stand on its own. I do however recommend this series highly.

Langston Carr is back in her hometown Marietta as the temporary event planner for the Graff Hotel. The first event on the calendar is the society wedding that should have been her big day with her loving groom, so when rodeo cowboy Bowen Ballantyne swaggers into the hotel, all hard-bodied and chivalrous, she thanks him the way any single woman needing to salve her pride wouldโ€”she kisses him.

Bull rider Bowen Ballantyne thrives on competition, but this time his cowboy cousins have taken their one-upmanship challenge too far. He needs to find a bride by the end of the Copper Mountain Rodeo. Bowenโ€™s never backed down from anything, so when former barrel racer Langston Carr, his tormentor from their teen years, propositions him, Bowen rockets up the heat.

A game of pretend between rivalsโ€ฆwhat could go wrong?

My Review: ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

This was such a delightful novel to read. The Cowboy’s Challenge is the second book in the Montana Rodeo Brides series. I haven’t read the first book yet but will be doing that very soon. I had no trouble following along having begun the series with book two. In fact, I’d like to mention while these three books represent a different couple and can be read on their own, the stories are definitely inter-connected. From what I easily inferred, all three books take place over the exact same time frame.

Langston and Bowen may have appeared from the start, opposites, however they were alike in many ways. I felt their connection from the very moment they met again. I want to say, that moment was entertaining. Yes, these two knew each other from their teen years, maybe earlier. They do have history but not the kind Langston always wished for. Bowen was enough years older at the time that he wouldn’t even consider a relationship with Langston other than platonic. I won’t go into details because you should unravel their pasts on your own.

Both Bowen and Langston will have decisions to make as far as how they move forward together in their future. Their relationship started out for convenience but it was easy to see they were meant for much more than a ruse. I also want to mention that there is a bit of a mystery going on with Bowen’s grandfather and I suspect the resolution of that will be revealed in the next book, which I am very much looking forward to reading. This is not my first novel from this author. I have read numerous books from her and enjoyed them all. I definitely recommend this series.

While I received and advanced reading copy of this book, this is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Synopsis:

Can they turn one spectacular night into a lifetime of love?

After a disastrous ride forces world champion saddle bronc rider Chase Walker back to his familyโ€™s ranch to recuperate, heโ€™s happy to distract himself for a night with a mysterious, gorgeous woman. It should have just been a one-night stand, but sheโ€™s unforgettable.

Thanks to her cheating ex-fiancรฉ, Ella Slade is done with rodeo cowboysโ€ฆuntil she meets a sexy cowboy who catches a thief who stole her purse. What harm can one night of indulgence do? A lot, apparently, because when she arrives at her interview for a ranch manager job, Chase turns out to be her prospective boss. Sheโ€™s adamant she wonโ€™t mix business with pleasure, but Chase suggests a dealโ€”Ella takes the job, and they pretend that night never happened.

The longer they work together, the harder it is to pretend. Chase knows heโ€™s falling for his midnight lover, but can he convince Ella to risk her heart again?

My ๐Ÿ“Review๐Ÿ“: ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

Not mixing business with pleasure is easier said than done for Chase and Ella. Truly, Madly Texas was an enjoyable romance between two characters just trying to move forward in their lives. Chase is a side-lined Rodeo saddle bronc rider due to an injury. Unexpectedly, his recuperation is going to be life-changing. Chase just doesn’t know it yet. Ella is interviewing for a job as a ranch manager at Chase’s family ranch. She is hopeful and desperate to get the job. However, when she learns one of her bosses is a man she spent an unforgettable night with just days prior to her interview; Ella is crushed. Even if she is offered the job, how can she take it? Chase knows Ella is the best one for the job. So, they both agree to keep their night together a secret and basically forget it ever happened. With the amount of attraction and chemistry between them, it will be a losing battle.

Now while you might think the ending is predictable, the journey to get there wasn’t easy. Chemistry is only one aspect. Ella has trust issues a mile long and Chase isn’t planning on retiring from the rodeo circuit. Watching the ups and downs, with a bit of angst and two very likable characters was the perfect recipe for a well-written, sweet romance.

I truly, madly enjoyed this book~ ;). I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

My ๐Ÿ“Review๐Ÿ“: ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

Montana Cowboy Daddy is the third book in the Wyatt Brothers of Montana Series. I have read the previous books and enjoyed them as much. The Wyatt family is very much the epitome of a loving and loyal. While each brother has their own interests, they will never hesitate to be there for each other. From the first book, the loyalty, love, and camradarie are present. Add a strong, protective, loving grandfather with mother who will except nothing but respect and strong ideals. I truly adored this family. I especially loved the closeness.

Billy is a rodeo champ. He has been very successful in his career and has a strong financial standing to help when he finally retires. Unfortunately, Billy has no plans to retire anytime soon. He plans on a rodeo career for as long as he can. Nothing will come in the way of that. Especially not finding out he is a father. Billy was a great character. I respected how he was determined to be a father as well as continuing his rodeo career. At first, Billy wasn’t going to make compromises but he soon realized he had to make some changes. If he wanted to be the best father he could be, Billy would have to stop thinking of only himself. He was very lucky to have Erika on the road with him so she could care for his son. At the beginning, Billy took Erika for granted although I don’t feel it was intentional. He was just so used to living footloose and fancy free. Watching his character grow and mature was one of my favorite aspects of the story.

The chemistry between Erika and Billy is strong from the beginning but neither acted on their feelings believing that they should just focus on baby Beck. I don’t want to spoil any of this story for you but I will tell you the whole story in itself is a slow build to an incredible ending.

There is a bit of a hint that has me very curious as to how Tommy’s story will go. I already feel like it will be emotional. If you are a fan of Montana cowboys, strong heroines, and emotional romances, I recommend this series. The books can be read in any order but I believe your reading experience will be more rewarding if you start with book one.

While I received a review copy from Tule Publishing, this is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it. ๐Ÿ™‚
